Ask “What’s the most famous pizza place in Vietnam?” and many people will name Pizza 4P’s. It began in Ho Chi Minh City in 2011, started by a Japanese couple, and has since grown into a flagship restaurant brand with locations across Vietnam. Da Nang has a branch too, loved by travelers and locals alike.

The star is the “house-made cheese”

The single biggest hallmark of Pizza 4P’s is that they make their own cheese. They produce their own creamy burrata and fresh, juicy mozzarella, then pile it generously onto Neapolitan-style pizzas fired in a wood oven. The moment a freshly-baked pie is sliced and the cheese comes flowing out is a scene many people will have seen in photos.

Twice as good with “half & half”

Another signature is half & half, which lets you enjoy one pizza in two flavors — a classic Italian Margherita alongside an inventive flavor combining Japanese and Vietnamese ingredients, all in a single pie. Beyond pizza, there is pasta, appetizers and dessert, so you can enjoy it almost like a full course.

A note before you go

It is simply a very popular place, so it tends to fill up at mealtimes. Making a reservation in advance is the safe move. The dining room is bright and comfortable, perfect for a date, an anniversary, or a “slightly special meal” on a trip. Prices are higher than a local eatery, but the overall experience is a sure thing.

Personally, this is the place I’d choose when I want to lock in one “can’t-miss” meal on a Da Nang trip.
